IonosGear1: This patent pending design impedes dust particles from entering into the camera sensor cavity during lens changing and also creates a dust free environment during sensor cleaning. To avoid sensor contamination, the IonosGear1’s electronics quickly scrub the chamber’s air of airborne particulates and suppress static electricity.
The IonosGear1 ships and stores collapsed about the size of a laptop computer. It is packed in its own bag, but it can conveniently travel in the laptop compartment of camera back packs and bags.

Lens Changing: The IonosGear1 in its normally deployed position accommodates most normal, fixed focal length lenses up to 400mm and zooms up to 500mm. For focal lengths up to 800mm, there is a concealed extension panel.
Sensor Cleaning: A high luminosity overhead lamp comes on while the electronic air scrubbers run silently. A 185mm Fresnel magnifier lens installed in the top panel permits close inspection of the sensor at its optimum resting height. An optional 120mm Fresnel magnifier or a clear lens can also be purchased from the factory if inspection closer to the window is desired. The interior side panel of the IonosGear1 has pockets to store cleaning solutions and swabs out of the way while cleaning the sensor.
Inclement Weather Protection: The case is designed with moisture resistant materials. Designed with lens ports and viewfinder windows, the bag offers protection for photography in inclement weather.
For photographers requiring anti-fungal and anti-bacterial capabilities due to extreme humidity environments, Photipherals has an optional transducer in development.
