Universal Charging System

Family vacation time… packing and excitement creates bedlam, and frustration levels can get high. There may be more than one digital camera in the house, perhaps a point and shoot (POS) and a new prized acquisition to capture that special trip. It could be a hassle to find the charger for the POS and the new system’s charger is the size of a football. Then there may be the added problem of not having the correct electrical adapter as you make a ten day, 12 country trip.

Photipherals (fo-tif-er-als) will be introducing a universal camera charging system that makes one unit interoperable, thanks to its modular design. It also comes with an assortment of adapters so whether you are in the USA, in the car, the EU or “down under” you are ready to charge. All of these components come in a nicely appointed carrying case, making it easy to just grab and go with confidence, as long as you have put everything back in its proper place. [Sorry, but the designers have not come up with a self-regulating system that puts things back from where you took them.]

There is a solar powered adapter in development.
